Strong comeback by karting talent Rosanne den Drijver

Naaldwijk, 28 July 2025: The third round of the IAME Benelux Series took place in Genk, Belgium, last weekend. Captain Cruise driver Rosanne den Drijver secured tenth place in the B Final.
“I started from P13 on the inside. I made a strong start and immediately gained several positions. During the race, I completed some good overtaking moves and eventually finished tenth.”
The IAME Benelux Series field in Genk consisted of more than 80 drivers from 15 different countries, including five female competitors.
PRECISE RACING LINES
“On Friday, my mechanic Sebastiaan Koppenol and I struggled to find the right pace. The kart was not responding at all. It felt as though the rear was sliding through every corner. We had trained extensively the week before and had not experienced that problem at all.
“This time, the track conditions were worse and the ideal racing line was much narrower. As soon as you moved slightly off line, you picked up dirt and lost grip. By driving more precisely and adjusting several settings, things gradually improved.”
