BNL race 3
25–26 July 2025
Last weekend, the third round of the Benelux championship took place at Genk.
Thursday got off to a difficult start, as we simply could not find the right setup.
On Friday, it was time for qualifying and three heats.
Qualifying: P21. We were still struggling to find the pace.
Heat 1: P21 to P16 to P19. I lost a few positions at the start, but the pace initially felt good. After around five laps, I suddenly lost all my speed and dropped several places. This was probably caused by the tyre pressure being too high.
Heat 2: P21 to P15 to P27. Once again, I gained several positions at the start. Unfortunately, I was pushed very hard on the second lap and had to cut the track. Although I gave the positions back, I was still classified last because of the incident.
Heat 3: P21 to P13. A solid race.
Heat 4: P22 to P16. The pace was starting to improve.
Heat 5: P22 to P6. A very strong race with plenty of chaos. Fortunately, I managed to avoid everything and secured a great sixth place.
B Final: Because of the difficult start to the weekend, I had to begin the B Final from P13. I moved up to P10 and ultimately finished 46th out of 81 drivers.
The fourth round of the Benelux championship will take place at Genk on 15 and 16 August. Everyone is welcome to come and watch!🏎️🏁
